Having decided upon the characters and their names many months ago we decided to perform a quick google search to see if there was already a character with the name "Rupert Grimm" appearing anywhere in any form of fiction already published. The Grimm in our series uses his name to enhance his story that he is a grim reaper (grim reaper, Grimm Rupert... geddit?). With this thought in mind we thought that perhaps we would not be the first people to think along the same lines and duly found many references to Andrew McCarthy's character in a film called "Getting In". At the time of creating our character we did not know of this film and our character was named through a process of elimination and nothing else. Having read the description of the Andrew McCarthy played character, it is clear that there are no similarities in the two characters save for the name.
